The Alliance Française of Los Angeles is a dynamic educational and cultural nonprofit organization that serves the Greater West Los Angeles and West San Fernando Valley areas. Our mission is to promote and enhance the knowledge and appreciation of French and Francophone culture, to increase the knowledge and comprehension of the French language, as well as to encourage interaction among French, Francophone and American people through educational programs and cultural events.

The purpose of this group is to read Marcel Proust's masterpiece: In Search of Lost Time [nee Remembrance of Things Past] from cover to cover together. We will meet regularly to discuss the portion we are all reading. We may have celebrity Proustian guest speakers come to meetings. We will celebrate our achievement with a special event!
